Head of Field Marketing
Appcharge is a leading direct-to-consumer platform for mobile gaming. We help studios sell directly to their players, bypassing traditional app store fees and owning the full payment and commerce experience. Backed by $89M from leading investors and operators, we now process over $1 billion in annualized DTC transactions for more than 150 mobile games, including King, Huuuge, Tripledot Studios, and SciPlay.
As Head of Field Marketing, you will own the strategy and operating system behind Appcharge's global events strategy - a variety of premium events, retreats and intimate partner experiences that fuels how we meet, win, and grow our most important partners. This is a strategic leadership role, not a production role. You will sit at the intersection of marketing, BD, and the executive team, and you will be measured on the pipeline influence and partner relationships that events generate, not on logistics alone.
Responsibilities
- Own Appcharge's annual field marketing strategy and global event calendar, with a 6 to 12 month planning horizon across conferences, dinners, mixers, and private partner events.
- Lock venues, hotels, and travel months in advance to secure better inventory and unlock multi-event procurement savings.
- Build the operating playbook that activates BD and AM leaders to invite the right partners to the right events, and makes outreach easy and consistent across regions.
- Own event ROI end-to-end: pre-event targeting, attendee mapping against the ICP and revenue book, post-event debriefs, cost-per-meeting, and pipeline influence reporting.
- Standardize Appcharge's dinner and mixer format into a scalable, repeatable playbook so the Event Producer can execute high volume without starting from scratch.
- Continuously rebalance the portfolio: double down on Tier-1 events that drive partner face-time and cut Tier-2 events that do not.
- Partner with the CMO on positioning, brand presence, and executive moments at our flagship industry events.
- Manage the Event Producers team and own the field marketing budget, vendor relationships, and agency partnerships.
- 7+ years in field, event, or partner marketing in a B2B environment, with at least 2 years leading the function or a sub-function.
- Proven track record planning and running a multi-event annual calendar across multiple regions.
- Commercial mindset. You think in pipeline, partner coverage, and revenue influence, and not only in attendee counts or stage minutes.
- Experience working hand-in-hand with BD, AM, and sales leadership to drive account-based event motions.
- Strong operational backbone - vendor negotiation, procurement, contracting, and budget management.
- Data fluency. Comfortable owning attribution, cost-per-meeting, and post-event ROI analysis in CRM and BI tooling.
- Background in mobile gaming, fintech, or high-growth B2B SaaS is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English. Willing to travel internationally to flagship events.
