  • Cost & vendor management – negotiate hardware/SaaS contracts, forecast growth, flag redundant services, and drive budget accuracy.
  • Collaboration with DevOps – align device and SaaS baselines with infrastructure-as-code, security policies, and production controls.

Qualifications

  • 4 + years in corporate IT administration within cloud-native or SaaS-heavy environments.
  • Proven ownership of SSO/identity systems, MDM/EDR platforms, and modern SaaS stacks.
  • Hands-on experience with laptop imaging, zero-touch deployment, and scripted automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Solid grasp of network fundamentals (DHCP/DNS, VLANs, firewalls, VPN protocols).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and evidence collection.
  • Ability to balance security enforcement with user productivity and fast-moving product teams.
  • Strong vendor-management and cost-optimisation skills.
  • Excellent communication—able to translate technical policy into clear guidance for non-technical staff.
