Across the industry, the operator surface for backend platforms is shifting. Developers spend less time in dashboards and more time in their IDE, increasingly with AI agents alongside them. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the standard that lets those agents talk to live infrastructure - and Stripe, Cloudflare, and a growing list of platforms have already shipped MCP servers to meet developers where they already work.
Appcharge is now the first DTC monetization platform for mobile games to do the same.
The infrastructure is proven. We've processed more than $1 billion in annualised transactions across 150+ games, with leading publishers generating 30% or more of total revenue through direct channels. What hasn't caught up is the speed at which publisher teams can configure, validate, and operate that infrastructure. That's the layer the MCP server addresses.
What you can do with Appcharge’s MCP Server
The Appcharge MCP server connects the platform directly to MCP-compatible development environments - Claude, Cursor, Claude Code. developers can read their platform configuration, identify and resolve callback URL issues, and finalize integration without leaving their editor. Every action is schema-validated and logged in the Appcharge dashboard.
The first release ships with a Developer Setup Skills Suite covering all integrations publisher teams configure first. It walks teams through the complete callback URL cycle - end-to-end, in their own environment, at their own pace.
Why we built this
At Appcharge, our job is to help you grow faster, operate more efficiently, and maximize the revenue you generate from your players. In infrastructure layers like payments, onboarding, and personalization, we believe AI is a genuine force multiplier, a way to decrease development time so your team can spend more time where it counts: building better gameplay experiences and focusing on the craft that makes great games successful.
The MCP Server is a good example of that in practice. Instead of spending days on manual configuration work, your team can move faster from within their own development environment, shorten integration cycles, and get to market sooner.
